Where oh Where?

Where oh Where has this year gone? I just realized that tomorrow is the first of October and then it really hit that the year has flown by when Christmas tree's went up at the shops. Ah! so early! Some shops had little Christmas knick-knacks up awhile ago but the trees! and the Christmas things like paper and ornaments and lights are all out at stores and we are planning Thanksgiving! Since Australia doesn't really do Halloween and we don't have kids we are pretty much skipping that this year again....but everyone can do Thanksgiving! I am pretty excited for it this year. I can't wait to get the house all dolled up for Christmas. Hoping that Steve can figure out a way to get the icicle lights on the front of the house....because I think it would just look awesome!  I love the Christmas season and all that it brings and am hoping this year is more enjoyable...last year with work and the heat it just didn't feel Christmas-y. So hopeful this year is better.....although I don't know if I can ever get used to the heat at Christmas! :)
