Good news! I got a call from The Royal Women's Hospital yesterday. They have scheduled my D&C for April 29th. I don't know what time yet...I have to call the day before to find out what time. My pre admin appointment is this Friday(3/18) and I will be meeting with the anesthesiologist and going over things that I will need to know before surgery like when to start fasting, what not to bring, what to bring, etc. I will be down for the count the day of surgery and the day after but then after that I should be fine, so they say. The two days out will be due mostly to the general anesthesia. I am still very nervous about having general anesthesia, I know they use it everyday and have for years, but not on me, and since I have previous experience to relate this to I am going into the unknown and a little bit scared about it...but hopefully all will go well. I was hoping they were going to be able to squeeze me in before my trip back home but it doesn't seem to be the case. Boo. I will try and post a bit after my pre admin appointment and I will take my camera to show you this way awesome hospital...I love it! It has been around for ages but they have a new facility and it is amazing! There is a post office, florist, hair salon, food court, pharmacy, and chocolate shop on the first floor, and that was just what I noticed...I am sure it went around the corner...so if I have a baby there (and this would be the hospital I choose!!) there is no reason for anyone visiting not to bring me flowers and candy and presents lol just kidding...well about everything but the flowers..I love getting those!! Anyways...awesome hospital..awesome staff...I think I am going to be just fine....I hope.
